BBMP has taken various steps to provide multiple methods through which a citizen can pay the property tax. A property owner can pay property tax via Bangalore One Centers, Banks notified by BBMP and Online. It's a good decision to make full payment of the property tax for a financial year in one go to avail 5% rebate given by BBMP. Late payment of property tax invites a penalty of 2% per month or 24% per annum.
Offline Payment of Property Tax: In order to make payment of property tax offline through Bangalore One Centers or Banks you need to follow the below procedure.
To start with the offline method you need to fill up one among the following forms based on the condition you qualify for mentioned in front of each form below.
Form I: If you have a Property Identification Number(PID) then this form is for you. PID is an unique number assigned by BBMP to the properties in Bangalore.
Form II: If you have a Khatha Number and do not have a PID then this is the form for you. This number is available on the Khatha certificate of the property.
Form III: This form is applicable to you if you do not have PID or Katha number. This form is for unauthorized property built without the approval of planning authorities at BBMP.
